The game that I chose was dafar is dying!
What issue does the game explore?
The issues of the game that i reviewed was that how hard it was living and or growing up in a 3rd world country. The family had to work together to survive to live and to even eat.
Does it do a good job of exploring the social issue?
I really thought the game did a great job of exploring the social issue. When playing the game for more than a few seconds, myself i really as many of the games tried to get into the game. Be a part of the game. When i was caught I wandering what would happen to the kids? Killed ,slavery and rape. This was hard to think about because of the happy go lucky world that we live in. You don't realize that going to the fridge and getting a drink of water or ice cream for that matter is a easy and simple task. Not even think about people that are thousand miles away and the have to run and steal water, not getting caught and the hardship that the whole family faces was heartbreaking.
Is this game fun or compelling to play?
I love the game. It kinda Amped up version of the older game i used to play villagers and Oregon trail. I really like the fact that you have to run after the water and get the chance to hide from the people and or gorillas. The game play is good. One thing that i didn't like is that when you run even if you let off the keys the guy would still keep running. And its only a N,S,W,E type of running i like more control when im playing.
Can a game be fun and be good at exploring social issue? How?
